Color: Star Slammers

Right of the back of John Byrne's Triple Helix, I got offered the chance to work with another comic legend- Walter Simonson! IDW were issuing an Artist's Edition of the original Artwork, so were taking full advantage of the opportunity to recolor the line. The original series was pretty much a mimicking of the original painted work, but the handling of the second series was at the dawn of the age of digital color and, to be frank, left a lot to be desired and had dated hard over the intervening twenty years.
