Color: Judge Dredd- Year One

IDW recently acquired the rights to Judge Dredd in the US. Since I've worked with both companies, I guess I was the choice for coloring a mini series chronicling Dredd's first year as a full-eagle Judge. Written by Matt Smith and with art by Simon Coleby, it's been a lot of fun and a chance to do something a bit more spare in terms of rendering. It still had to look like a Dredd story, but Simon's art lent itself to a more basic, less showing style of color.

Yes, that's right, the last image is not by Simon, but by Judge Dredd creator and all round comics master Carlos Ezquerra- a really nice guy. 

A comic book milestone achieved!
